Terry Kang, MD, is a board-certified fellowship trained ophthalmologist specializing in pediatric ophthalmology and strabismus. He is a California native who received his medical degree from the University of California, San Diego School of Medicine, residency training at the University of Missouri – Kansas City, and then his subspecialty training at the world renowned Texas Children’s Hospital in Houston. He is currently practicing in Upland servicing patients from Los Angeles county, Orange county, and San Bernardino county. He treats a wide range of pediatric eye conditions including but not limited to amblyopia (lazy eye), strabismus (eye misalignment), nasolacrimal duct obstructions, cataracts, ptosis, retinopathy of prematurity and also treats adults with strabismus. He is an active member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology (AAO) and the American Association of Pediatric Ophthalmology and Strabismus (AAPOS). In his free time he enjoys sports, good food and traveling the world with his wife.
